I'm assuming some of us have heard how the people in charge of the internet and the workings of it in general have wanted to put in a plan that would:
- Allow major companies to lower their bandwidth to a level and charge extra for bandwidth over a limit, it also lets companies "buy" bandwidth in bulk and then sell it to us.
To those not knowledgeable of what this means it pretty much equals to this:
-If you download a lot of music
-If you download movies
-If you download anything for that matter
-...and if you do all of the above
It will allow them to say that because you download so much more than the grandmother who uses it to check on cheese scone recipes...you have to pay $60 more per month or some other amount.
Now I don't know the exact details and I understand that their argument is that the internet has become extremely well used in this time of age and now people and companies are straining to keep enough service up for the population.
But what I dislike was that they didn't try other means to gather funds. They never though of something of deals with internet companies, maybe even a slight increase of a dollar or two to prices. Heck, maybe even some kind of more expensive internet plan but give them a slightly faster speed for being some kind of member or something.
Pretty much my argument is that to get money they went about it kind of sleazy like.
So to those who wander in; What's your opinion?
